Fire in Downtown Trinidad Feb 2009
On Saturday Feb 7th there was a fire in the Franch Building in downtown Trinidad. No one was injured or killed but the upper levels of the building were pretty much destroyed and the lower level businesses including Gordito’s Mexican Restaurant sustained water damage and are currently closed.
Here are some photos of the fire:

Our hope is that the building will be able to be rebuilt instead of torn down to help preserve more of our downtown buildings. There are some local comments on our Trinidadco.com forum here if you want to read them.
